A few German shunters.
Leased to DB Regio for shunting in the Bayern region, Alstom liveried 203 Class diesel No. 203 001-3 speeds light engine through Nürnberg Hauptbahnhof on February 15th, 2005. 14 of these locomotives are on hire, all rebuilt from 202 Class machines.
SO, I SHOULD be just finishing up my trip to Germany over the next few days, but as I am still in the UK and certainly not enjoying myself getting very wet over there, I may as well post a few pictures from my last trip to the land of sausages and beer way back in 2005. Here are a few 203 class shunters, caught shuttling around the station environs of Nürnberg.
Who knows, maybe my next holiday plans will be fourth time lucky and I’ll actually manage to get to the airport?
DB Regio 203 Class diesel No. 203 004-7 (leased from Alstom) prepares to leave Nürnberg Hbf on February 15th, 2005, with a train of empty push-pull stock for the carriage sidings.
No. 203 005-4 propels 143 Class electric No. 143 274-9 and its empty coaching stock out of Nürnberg Hbf on February 15th, 2005. These 203 Class diesels are leased to DB Regio by Alstom.
