The colourful world of departmental coaching stock.
A NUMBER OF research, track test and breakdown coaches in the Q-Coded TOPS series are the subject for today. Also included is a single A-Coded vehicle, which appears to be the favoured TOPS designation for many new Network Rail test coaches.
Of special note are DB975081 and DB975280, which are the original Stucture Gauging Train vehicles. Two livery variations are shown the Railtrack green and blue being quite short lived as the train has now been reformed and painted Network Rail yellow.
