Both of Wisconsin Central’s GP40-2 locomotives, Nos. WC 3026 and 3027 wore special commemorative schemes. The former carried an intricate map of Wisconsin to celebrate the state’s sesquicentennial, while the latter, pictured here, carried the flags of the five states/provinces in which WC operated as a celebration for the RR’s 10th anniversary in 1997. No. WC 3027 was recorded at Stevens Point, Wisconsin, on October 7th, 2002.
