The last Yarmouth ‘drag’ of the year…
THE FINAL LOADED ‘drag’ of the year to the Norfolk seaside town of Great Yarmouth took place this past weekend (September 27th, 2008), and, as the rumour always goes, possibly the last of them all… although chances are that 2009’s season will see a new operator supplying the traction. Cotswold Rail Class 47/8 No. 47818 Emily crawls into its destination passing the famous semaphores with the National Express East Anglia 1V26 14.18 service from Norwich, with Class 90/0 No. 90015 Royal Anglian Regiment and its rake of Mk. 3s in tow. The whole train is wearing matching debranded ex-’One’ livery.
