IS THERE A better set of coaching stock in Europe than SBB CFF FFS’ IC 2000 bi-levels, built by Bombardier (ex-Schindler Waggon and Adtranz) from 1996 onwards? This is restaurant car WRB No. 50 85 88-94 007-4 at Spiez, Switzerland, on October 20th, 2006, forming part of a Basel to Interlaken service. Elvetino is the contractor for SBB’s on-board catering.

A NUMBER OF research, track test and breakdown coaches in the Q-Coded TOPS series are the subject for today. Also included is a single A-Coded vehicle, which appears to be the favoured TOPS designation for many new Network Rail test coaches.
