A decent afternoon’s photography!

DOING THE JOB it was built for, hauling freight from Europe to destinations in the UK, DB Schenker Class 92 No. 92005 Mozart still wears the ‘big beasties’ brandings of EWS as it powers north through Marholm Crossing, Cambridgeshire, with the 4E32 11.55 Dollands Moor to Scunthorpe empty steel on March 18th, 2009. The steel carrying flats (actually container wagons carrying cassettes) originated in Ebange, France.

The Grand Central 1A62 12.30 Sunderland to London King’s Cross service screams past DB Schenker’s West Yard in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, on March 18th, 2009, in the capable hands of buffer-fitted Class 43 HST power cars No. 43123 & 43067.

Having spent a few days touring the Anglian region, Network Rail Class 950 mobile track assessment DMU No. 950001 speeds past the former crossing at Marholm, Cambridgeshire, on March 18th, 2009, with the 2Q08 10.17 Liverpool Street to Derby RTC.
