The steel carrying flats (actually container wagons carrying cassettes) originated in Ebange, France.

UNION PACIFIC SD60M No. UP 4528 is partnered with former UP colleague No. LTEX 3905, now working for ‘rent a wreck’ leasing firm Larry’s Truck & Electric. The dynamic duo are illustrated pounding their eastbound double stack intermodal through Aurora, Illinois, on May 30th, 2006, not that many miles from their probable destination of Chicago.

NS8551_8805GB_231005

THE LIGHT IS fading fast as the Norfolk Southern pairing of C39-8 No. NW 8551 & Dash 8-40C No. NS 8805 come roaring through Emory Gap, Tennessee, with a westbound manifest on October 23rd, 2005. Despite it being the tenth month, fall/autumn doesn’t really appear to have gripped the trees yet.
